Goodbye Blog!

Dear Sky and Trees Families, 

It has been so wonderful to honor each of the children these final weeks of school. We have also thought about each class as a whole.  So here are some final honoring words...

Sky Class, we honor you for being 
fun-loving researchers.  

Sky Class, you love to talk and laugh and dance and giggle.  You enjoy each other’s company and you love learning.  You love to learn together.  You share your ideas and thoughts with one another and you really enjoy new knowledge. You are so excited and focused every single time we read books and share new information with you. You are so curious that you almost burst with questions!

We see you hug and play and chat in beautiful ways together.   You are grateful for each other. You honor your friends' individual gifts with your patience and care for one another.

Ms. Chalmers and I have talked constantly together this year about what a lovely and delightful group of children you are. It has been a delight to see you learn and grow together!  

Sky Class, we honor you for being

Trees Class, we honor you for being 

loving and flexible discoverers. 

Trees Class, there is nothing that we threw your way that you could not handle. You were spontaneous and flexible, and always with a smile! Not just your kindness, but your very real love for and acceptance of each other was palpable. Absolutely any combination of children in this class could truly delight in each other. 

You loved making discoveries! Sometimes walking through the Trees classroom was like walking through a field of geysers, but instead of spontaneous eruptions of water, it was discoveries — gasps, exclamations, and reflections. 

Reflecting on our final closing meeting, Ms. Kadota and I talked about how the whole class just seemed so comfortable together and really seemed to belong to each other. We will miss you dearly and will delight in seeing you again in the fall. 

Trees Class, we honor you for being loving and flexible discoverers.
