Last Days

It is our last week!

On Monday and Tuesday, we ended our ant study ...

We had a lovely celebration outside to celebrate all that we know and love about ants. 

Following the pheromone trail for food

Attaching to each other to make a body raft to survive the flood

Making a body bridge for far away ants to reach the raft

Here comes the water! How will we survive?

On Thursday and Friday, we will spend time in our own classes, organizing what we will bring home, cleaning our classrooms, and spending time with one another. 

... And today?

Today was our last day with our regular schedule — coming together for planning meetings and rotating around for various activities in our three rooms.

In our planning meeting, we reflected on the ant study and spent a few minutes drawing one thing that each child knows about ants.

Then we had our last day in the Studio and in each other's classrooms, working with some of our favorite activities from throughout the whole school year...

It is good to be with each other.
