After quiet time has ended, its time to roll up our towels and put them away for the afternoon. All of the full day students are becoming experts at towel rolling by following these steps.
Step one: lay the towel out flat
Step two: fold the towel corner to corner
Step three: roll!

There are many different places for students to work during activity time. Some of our favorites are working with blocks, magnet tiles at the light table, and matching games.

Before we meet our parents and babysitters outside, we have to give a handshake, hug, or high five to Ms. Chalmers and Ms. Greene.
As you can see, the afternoons are spent expanding on everything that we do as a whole group in the morning. More project and skill work, more play, music, movement, and stories.
Mr. Licato and Mr. Johnson will be added into the afternoon schedule as well for weekly times of visual art and physical education.
Even with the time of rest, a full day at school is so very tiring. You can use these blogs to walk through the day with your child at home, and ask about different parts of their time in the Nest.
