The first stop was the bank to drop off our rolled pennies for Pencils of Promise.
The dimes, nickels, quarters, and bills have yet to be delivered by other classes. Last year we raised over a thousand dollars, which wouldn't go very far in Hoboken, but makes a huge difference.
Equally important is the awareness of others, and the spirit of giving that is being fostered in the children.
Then we were off to Pier C park for the celebration of our city study!
