Last Monday and Tuesday, Dr. Smith visited the Trees Class and led the class in their first music lesson of the year. She visited again this week and now we are hooked!

We recognize Dr. Smith from worship and are so excited to welcome her, but extra and especially exciting is the presence of her music teaching partner, John the Rabbit! (Oh, yes!)

While the children have a time of singing in worship, and singing is also a part of our daily rhymes and chants time, this weekly time with Dr. Smith focuses on developing musical skills that reinforce and further the skills needed for mathematics, language development, and working as a team. Music class is, of course, a wonderful start to our children's lives as musicians at Mustard Seed School.
It is wonderful to have Dr. Smith and John with us on our Nest.
