The children's completion of their collage
self-portraits was no small feat.
(But many small feet. HA!)
Each child had mapped out their entire body,
made a plan, cut the pieces,
organized them into an image,
and worked to glue them together.
Once all 32 were finished,
how did we celebrate?
We sang.
We sang.
Looking at this now, we can't help but think of God on the seventh day ...
"Then God looked
At all the things
That God had made.
He took a rest,
And all was blessed.
The Seventh Day!"
