At the park, children have been gleefully discovering insects. We have have heard great enthusiasm as children have proclaimed that these creatures are happiest when they are in the dirt and we have seen the construction of houses in which to keep roly poly bugs safe at the park.
In the Studio, soil has been introduced and it has been great fun to really dig those hands into the dirt! (And have to clean it up.)
And children are continuing to make their learning visible through art as they have been thoughtfully planning and creating flower and butterfly collages.
It is a time of flourishing!
