Dear Sky and Trees Families, 

It has been so wonderful to honor each of your children these final three weeks of school. We have also thought about both classes as a whole...

Sky Class, we honor you for being

beacons and buoys.

A beacon guides the way and a buoy holds things up.  Sky Class, you do these things for one another.  You love being with, guiding, and supporting each other.  You have many wonderful friendships, work so well together, and care deeply for each other.  We see this when you play together, learn new knowledge together, and when you sing your togetherness lifts up and inspires anyone who hears it.  You have shared your light and your love.

Sky Class, we honor you for being beacons and buoys.

(dramatic pause)

Trees Class, we honor you for being 
eager explorers.

Trees Class, you want to know as much as you can: New words, new songs, new books, new parts of a castle, new insects, new ways to build, count, and create. Each discovery fills this group with excitement and ideas that start to bounce of one of another other getting bigger and bigger. As you continue to grow, both within and without the walls of Mustard Seed, keep eagerly exploring. God has filled this world with wonder just for you!

Trees Class, we honor you for being eager explorers.

The final honor is all ours...

It was a delight to teach and get to know each of your children, to nurture their curiosity and interests, to read, laugh, sing, and explore with them, and to remind each of them that they are a beloved child of God.
