Your self-portrait has too!
If your family has picked up your bag from Mustard Seed School, carefully take out your portfolio and put it down in front of you. On the front you will see your self-portrait from earlier this year!
Now, please find one or both of the self-portraits that you drew during Zoom school a couple of weeks ago. Can you find the one that you added color to?
Put your newly drawn portrait down next to the one on your portfolio and, together with someone in your family, look really carefully at your beautiful self-portrait drawings!

Notice how they might be the same.
How have you changed as an artist?
Do you see more details now?
Are there things you see that show that you have gotten stronger as an artist?
Are there things in the one you did earlier in the school year
that you like better?
Which one do you like best?
Now, look through the work in your portfolio.
- Find something you remember doing at school. Tell someone about it.
- Find something that you really like.
- Find something that you remember working really hard at.
- Do you have a favorite piece of work or favorite memory of something we did at school that you see in your portfolio?
Now, gather the work that you did for school when we were at home, and ask someone to help you put it into your portfolio so you can keep it with all of your other work from this year! You could also put your journal in one of the pockets if you'd like!
You will always have your portfolio to look at and enjoy any time you want!
