Castles, Stories, and Letters... Oh My!
It all started with a block structure...
... and then the Sky Class had castles on the brain!
"Get some more blocks, please."

Meanwhile in the Studio...
Printmaking
The children made Valentine cards using their paintings from the Studio. They learned to make the shape of the heart using two half circles and a rhombus.
Also around the Sky Class...
The Spot It! game.
Each day the Sky Class gets a turn
to play with the morning worship story.
Every morning the children play Alphabet Soup and then count how many letters are in each color group.
When they count the letters, they try to arrange them in different ways. This helps them to see, for example,
7 as 7+0...
... or 3+1+3!
The Sky Class also had a special guest this week: Mrs. Sanders who came to read her birthday book to the class.
Finally, the Sky Class had Activity Time
with the Trees Class in their room this week.
