Draw a picture of
someone who lives in a castle!
You will need your notebook and your flair pen.
Think about the pictures we looked at in our small group meetings
and the read aloud you heard this morning.
(You can watch again, look at the list from the read aloud,
or look at these pictures for some ideas).
Choose who you would like to be if you lived in a castle.
A servant? Musician? Knight? Cook? Jester? Nurse? Groom?
Once you have decided who you would like to be in a castle, it's your turn to draw!

1. Turn to the next blank page in your notebook
2. Get your flair pen ready! (lid on the back, check your grip!)
3. THINK about who you will draw and what you will include in your drawing. Look at one of the pictures above as you draw if you want.
4. FIRST draw the big parts/shapes (head, torso, legs, arms, hands, feet, face).
5. Then ADD DETAILS. What would you be wearing? What might you be holding? What other details do you notice? Add details!
6. CHECK: Does your person have stick arms and legs or thick arms and legs? Do the arms come out of the shoulders? Does your person have details in the face? Details on the clothes? Add more details if you need to!
Look at your drawing and find something you really like about it!
