Counting Coins
Collect as many coins as you have in your house.
Sort them into groups, putting all the same kind together
(i.e., all pennies together, all dimes together, etc.).
Count and see how many you have of each kind.
Challenge Round:
Make a pattern with 2 or more different coins.
Write down how many of each type you have.
Can you organize them in different ways?
(i.e., maybe first in rows, then in groups, then in designs)
