Where is Rosie?
Remember the story Rosie's Walk?
Draw Rosie with your black flair pen on a piece of paper. (Start with the big shapes you see:
maybe her body, tail, head, and legs.)
(Make sure she is pretty BIG!)
Color her in, using your crayons
or other colors you may have at home.
Cut out the Rosie you drew.
Tape her to the end of a pencil or pen.
Now take her around your room and move her:
on top of the couch
under a chair
next to a book
beside a toy
inside a bag
over your shoe
above your head
in front of the refrigerator

Take a picture of Rosie in all of these places
and talk about them with someone at home
(or you can email them to your teachers, too!)
Draw a picture of Rosie in the places
she went around your house.
Count how many places she went.
