Last week, we took our first walking trip to Columbus Park to observe trees that were different from the ones we see at our usual park.
When we arrived at the park, we got to play at a different playground and eat snack outside.
After we had finished our snack, we had lots of time to explore the different activities that were available;
pressing clay into trees and sticks to see the different textures of nature,
creating rubbings of leaves that we found interesting,
We even got to lay in Ms. Chalmers' hammock!
Look closely, can you spot anyone?
We laid on the ground to look up at the beauty above us,
and some of us even took pictures of what we saw.
We collected many things,
and looked closely at them to see what made them special.
And leaves...
there were lots of leaves.
It was a very full day!
