Today in drama, Ms Chalmers introduced a new Frog and Toad story, Ice Cream. In the story, Frog and Toad are wishing for some ice cream on a hot day, and, from there, chaos ensues.
Toad buys ice cream, but as he walks back, it begins to melt all over him.
“A big brown thing covered in sticks and leaves with two horns is coming this way! Run for your life!”
Frog, quickly hides behind a rock, only to realize that the scary thing coming his way was Toad!
“Frog, where are you?” Toad wailed.
Toad fell into the river and all of the delicious ice cream washed away.
“Don’t worry Toad, I know what we can do.” Frog and Toad went back to the store to buy more ice cream, and ate it in the cool shade of the tree.
