Now it is your turn to draw a pet!
You will need:
your journal
flair pen
colored pencils or crayons
Choose a pet that you want to draw.
Here are a few pictures of some pets for ideas (you can always find your own picture to look at too).
Before you draw, really think about the characteristics of that animal:
- How many legs?
- Are they long or short?
- What kind of feet does it have (Claws, paws, hooves)?
- What kind of ears?
- Does it have skin, fur, feathers, a shell?
- Color?
- Are there other details special to that pet?
- Whiskers? Tail? Tongue? Spots? Stripes?
Work slowly and carefully!

special about that pet.
