Making A Dog Puppet
What we need:
business envelope, construction paper, marker or crayon, scissors, tape, glue
1. Seal the envelope closed with glue or tape.
2. Fold the envelope in half and cut it.
3. Put some tape on one side to reconnect.
Place three pieces of tape like this.
4. When you fold the taped side in, you can put your fingers in.
5. Draw long, droopy ears, a big nose and eyes on some construction paper.
What color will you choose for the ears?
How big or what shape will the ears be?
6. Cut the ears, nose and eyes out with scissors.
7. Place the envelope folded-and-taped side to the top.
8. Glue the ears, the nose and the eyes on.
The nose goes on the edge.
9. I gave my dog some spots with crayon.
10. You can put your fingers in the envelope and open and close his mouth.
I drew some teeth inside his mouth and glued a tongue with pink paper.
